Knowledge for All releases Phase 1 Work Plan

A detailed Work Plan for Knowledge for All's Planning and Development Phase is now available on its website.  The Work Plan describes activities which will be carried out from January to December 2011.  During the first 6 months, a Project Manager will undertake research and planning for all aspects of the Knowledge for All project, including content, contributors and workflows, technology, community development, and finances.  During the last 6 months a Community Development, Marketing, and Fundraising Coordinator will begin a campaign to obtain all necessary resources and support to begin project operations, while simultaneously a System Development Coordinator will coordinate the development of the citation database and related technological infrastructure.

Funding has been obtained for the Planning and Development Phase from the Council of Atlantic University Libraries, although additional resources may be required throughout the year.
