The strategies and actions outlined above are intended to support overall project goals and development and contribute to positive outcomes for stakeholders and community members. These outcomes, along with measurable indicators of achievement, are identified below and will be used to gauge the effectiveness of chosen strategies and make improvements as needed.
Community Development

Initial targets
- 1000 contributors to index 44 journals each or 3000 contributors to index 15 journals each (based on estimates of 43,500 scholarly journals published per year and an average of 100 articles published per journal).
- 50% monthly increase in number of registered users (based on 150 in Oct 2011)
- A minimum of 10 active users in online groups hosted on the project’s community portal
