Thesaurus Creative Commons but not sure about data. Citations added by consortium members (700 institutions)/ researchers – 57661 citations but not complete by journal. Want data to be available so researchers can replicate.
Interface in English but Spanish and Portuguese translations of words included. Free thesaurus for searching a proprietary database.
The APAIS thesaurus is available for download at no cost for non-commercial use. Users who wish to use the APAIS thesaurus for any commercial purpose need to contact the library at: firstname.lastname@example.org and obtain a licence for its commercial use.
Will be translated into more languages. "The complete thesaurus, or any substantial part of the thesaurus, may not be reproduced, stored in a retrieval system or transmitted in any form or by any means, electronic, mechanical, photocopying, recording, or otherwise without the permission of the copyright holder."
The thesaurus was initially based on the UNESCO Thesaurus (ISBN: 92-3-101469-2) and is continuously expanded and updated by the UK Data Archive. HASSET may be used by other organisations, for example to index materials, provided it is for non-commercial purposes and appropriate acknowledgement is given. A licence form allowing you to use or adapt HASSET in your own organisation can be requested from email@example.com.
